Death Cab For Cutie have revealed the track listing and US release date of their forthcoming album, 'Narrow Stairs'.

The follow-up to 2005's 'Plans' is due out May 13 and contains 11 tracks.

The new material is "a sampling of the most uptempo, upbeat Death Cab songs as well as some of our saddest," bassist Nick Harmer told Billboard.

The band have not yet announced a US tour, although they have confirmed appearances at California's Coachella Festival on April 26 and Tennessee's Bonnaroo Festival June 12-15.

Thirteen senses have started recording their third album at their own North London recording studios.

Will has spent the best part of the summer escaping to 'sunny' Cornwall to write the majority of the lyrics and the band are now working on completing the tracks.

Will said, "We always felt the gap between the first two albums was too long, so we want to get the next record out as soon as possible."

She got a tiny C on the top of her right thigh last week. Gwyneth who paid £60 for the body art was quite nervous as the tattoo artist created the design, which took almost 20 minutes to complete.

At first she was thinking about having a tattoo on her arm, but then decided that this might affect her acting work. In the end, she decided on the top of her right thigh, and joked that Chris would have fun finding it. I asked her if the C stood for Coldplay, but she said it was definitely a C for Chris. Compared to some designs I do, this was discreet and subtle, to say the least,” the artist told a British newspaper.
